A Brief History of Danger

September 2004 - Danger plays first public performance at “Taste of Bethesda”, at an ice cream store next to East Coast Music Production Camp.

December 2004 - Days before Christmas, Danger is in its first Battle of the Bands. James performs with a 101 degree temperature. In a split decision, Danger bows to Wanted by the State.

June 2005 - In a dream performance, the boys rocked the MCI Center (now, the Verizon Center) in the heart of Washington, D.C. In its second Battle of the Bands, Danger won the junior band competition and was invited back to perform at a future Wizards game.

October 2005 - One year later, the Band has moved from the ice cream shop next door to Brasserie Monte Carlo across the street. A prime corner location, except it is directly behind an event table selling food tickets. There are threats of closure if they play too loudly. Further, there is some question about the status of their "permit." Despite all of this, Danger played a fantastic set before several hundred enthusiastic fans. The local CBS affiliate filmed them for "Good Morning Washington", but the spot was broadcast so early, no one ever saw it.

November 2005 - In a terrific pre-Thanksgiving performance, Danger rocks Wheaton Mall. Also in November, the Band performed at an art exhibit at Strathmore. Some of the senior art crowd did not fully appreciate the Band. Message to the Smithsonian: don't call us; we'll call you.

December 2005 - Danger helps open The Club, the new theater annex at East Coast Music Production Camp. Now the boys can practice and perform regularly in a real club setting, designed and managed especially for kids.

February - March 2006 - In a terrible accident, lead guitarist Matthew Morgan was hit by a car while skateboarding in front of his house and suffered very serious injuries. The doctors, nurses and staff of Children’s Hospital and NRH saved his life. In April, he rejoined the band! In November, Matthew and the band played a benefit concert for Children’s Hospital. Matthew's ordeal was told in real time by his mother at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/ Type in matthewmorgan [one word].

Fall 2006 - The band had an awesome performance at The Club on October 20.

Winter 2006/2007 - On December 2, 2006, the band rocked the Bethesda Rescue Squad. Channel 9 was there and captured red hot footage! On February 8, 2007, the boys headlined a Children’s Hospital Fundraiser.

Spring 2007 - The boys blast the First Annual Silver Spring Block Party.

Winter 2007/2008 - Danger rocks TT Reynolds in Fairfax, VA in a luscious winter time extravaganza. Santa’s elves know where to party in Fairfax!

Spring 2008 - The boys plant their flag on a Rock ‘n Roll peak: Danger rocks D.C.’s legendary 9:30 Club!

December 2008 - Danger returns to Falls Church, VA, and rocks the State Theatre to the core, making an awesome contribution to another huge Childrens’ Hospital fundraiser. The boys are presented with unbelievable band photos from their new best friends at Snapp-shot Photography!
